Area and Perimeter - Math With a Certified Teacher

In this weekly ongoing class, we will practise finding the area and perimeter of 2-D shapes. Using both units and specific measurements, learners will practice the simple equations of P=2(L+W) or P=L+L+W+W and A=LxW. 

We will work together in a supportive environment, where making mistakes are seen as important for learning and we make area and perimeter fun! 

I encourage learner interaction but will not force it. I want every learner in my classes to feel comfortable and welcome. 

The class topic remains the same each week. Learners can join for one week or stay as many weeks as they'd like!


This class works best with at least 2 learners. If the minimum number of learners has not been met 30 hours before class, the class may be cancelled or postponed. 

Class recordings: I do not share recordings of my group classes in order to protect the privacy of all learners, as many parents do not feel comfortable with other families having access to videos that include their child. You are encouraged to contact me if you have specific questions about something covered in class. I am always happy to help.
