In this weekly ongoing class, we will practise finding the area and perimeter of 2-D shapes. Using both units and specific measurements, learners will practice the simple equations of P=2(L+W) or P=L+L+W+W and A=LxW. We will work together in a supportive environment, where making mistakes are seen as important for learning and we make area and perimeter fun! I encourage learner interaction but will not force it. I have been working with learners for over 10 years and strive to create an encouraging and supportive learning environment.
