This one time 30 mins 1:1 class will help parents to find out how much math a student knows before entering the next grade level.  Each grade level from Kindergarten to Grade 5 has its own assessment of about 10 to 15 questions on the major math concepts such as:  number sense, place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, word problems, fractions, and/or  beginning algebra.  The students will give answers orally and I will type it up for them.  If they don't know more than 3 questions, I will move the level down, if they find it too easy, I will move the level up.  If there is a particular grade level you want me to begin the assessment at, you can let me know ahead of time.  Before the class ends, if they have completed all questions, they will know how prepared they are for their next grade level in math.
