Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from Humboldt State University
I received a B.A. in International Studies (European Studies) with a minor in Spanish language in 2018. During university, I studied abroad in Spain two separate times. I also grew up 15 minutes from the U.S.-Mexico border in a family of native Spanish speakers. From my experiences, I have gained knowledge in both Latin-American Spanish and Castilian (Spain) Spanish. I have also worked as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher in-person and online for over 4 years. My knowledge of language acquisition for young learners of English is easily applied to teaching the Spanish Language.
