By the end of this Applied Communications course, students will have developed a comprehensive set of real-life writing and communication skills essential for personal, academic, and professional success. 

Students will be able to construct clear and cohesive paragraphs, utilize AI tools ethically for writing assistance, and create effective advertisements. They will master professional email etiquette, write compelling resumes and cover letters, and prepare confidently for job interviews. Additionally, students will gain expertise in social media communication, presentation skills, and conflict resolution. They will learn to handle customer service interactions professionally, produce clear technical documents, and write concise memos and project proposals. 

Furthermore, students will develop the ability to give and receive constructive feedback, enhance their listening skills, and manage time effectively. The course will also cover digital communication strategies, personal branding, crisis communication, and effective meeting management, equipping students with the necessary skills to excel in various communication contexts.

Lesson 1: Paragraph Writing
Learn to construct clear and cohesive paragraphs, focusing on topic sentences, supporting details, and transitions.

Lesson 2: Using AI Appropriately for Writing Assistance
Discover how to leverage AI tools to enhance your writing, while understanding the ethical considerations and limitations.

Lesson 3: Thank You Notes/Letters-Expressing Gratitude- 
Master the art of writing sincere thank you notes and letters and discover techniques to effectively express appreciation and gratitude, leaving a lasting positive impression on recipients.

Lesson 4: Resume Writing
Learn to create an effective and compelling resume that highlights your skills and experiences.

Lesson 5:  Interview Skills
Prepare for job interviews with techniques for answering common questions and presenting yourself confidently.

Lesson 6: Email Etiquette
Master the art of professional email communication, including structure, tone, and common pitfalls to avoid.

Lesson 7: Technical Writing/Filling out Forms
