In this one time class, I will read "From Seed to Plant" and then complete a brief lesson on apple seeds life cycles. Early childhood should be about wonder of the natural world around them and this class will further whet that appetite.
Class experience
This will be an examination of apples, an introduction to life cycles, and igniting the imagination for the wonder of the natural world around them. Class will begin with reading "From Seed to Plant" by Gail Gibbons. After a brief discussion from guided questions at the end of the story, I will introduce the concept of life cycles in nature. Then, students will be encouraged to create their own diagram of a life cycle from the PDF printout (printable provided before class begins). Early...

Hello from Texas! Although I am currently residing in Texas, we move quite often and that has allowed me to have many different types of career experiences. I have tutored privately and through well-known organizations; taught in the public school classroom setting with a self-contained classroom; substituted and interned in private school classroom settings; instructed at the community college level; assisted with museum operations; and homeschooled my three munchkins. I have worked with early education all the way up to the community college level.
