Some sensitive topics may be covered when discussing concepts in the AP World History course, but they will be handled in a way that is both age-appropriate and ideologically balanced. I have been teaching AP classes for 7 years and I have 9 years of teaching experience in world history and psychology, which has trained me to approach sensitive topics in an empathetic, highly understanding way. I have also graded AP History essays for the College Board for two years, which has given me an expertise on the grading process that I would love to share with your students.
Homework Offered
I will provide free-response questions previously released by the College Board for students to practice on their own each week. These will not be required, but will enhance the learning experience. I will check for correctness and even grade them if students would like me to do so.
