US Grade 9 - 12
In this course, students will learn various strategies to approaching AP style questions. From reviewing content in Periods 1-9 to studying the elements of a DBQ, we will address it all! Every sessions will be geared towards a unit, writing style, or multiple choice questions. In this class, many assignments will be discussion based will also incorporating practice of the AP writing styles that students will see on the test. I will show short slides at the beginning of each session to just frame the lesson. After that, we will break out into discussion of the topic for that lesson. There will be practice at the end of every session to link it to AP standards.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to discuss AP level content with each other and defend claims that they have.
Students will be able to achieve mastery on the various AP level writing style such as the SAQ, DBQ, and LEQ.

We will discuss politically sensitive topics in this class as it related to the AP United States History curriculum.
Supply List
Students should have access to AP classroom if they are enrolled at an AP class at their school. We will use this platform occasionally when looking at content and the structure of the course.
