Welcome to a class where students will be able to draw their favorite anime characters. Each week they will learn how to draw characters from Pokemon, My Hero Academia, One Piece, Naruto, and many others. Each student will be immersed in an environment of creativity and new ideas as they learn how to draw some of their favorite anime characters. In this fun class, each student will learn the fundamentals of character creation and will also receive a step by step process of how to create their very favorite anime characters. Learners should bring sharpened pencils, soft erasers and blank paper (or a drawing pad) to class weekly. Week 1: Topic - Pokemon Character Week 2: Topic - My Hero Academic Characters Week 3: Topic - One Piece Characters Week 4: Topic - Naruto Characters Week 5: Topic - Pokemon Characters Week 6: Topic - My Hero Academic Week 7: Topic - One Piece Characters Week 8: Topic - Naruto Characters The instructor is especially skilled: Darrell Andrews Jr. is a graduate of Ringling College of Art & Design, one of the nation’s most prestigious art schools. He is a freelance illustrator who has done an array of creative projects, including children’s books and cartoon development. He is well versed in traditional hand-drawn art, photoshop, figure drawing, traditional painting, concept art and general illustration. He had illustrated children’s books and created cartoon characters. He is a soft-spoken artist-teacher who enjoys working with children.
