Students will learn some basic coding skills with block coding on the Scratch program. They will learn how to code each letter in their name to perform different functions such as spin, change colors, and make sounds. Students will also add a background to their code. They will learn some coding vocabulary such as algorithm and loop. This is perfect for coding beginners. The teaching style of this class will be me showing an example of a completed project. After that, we will work through the steps to animate their name through code.
