Class Experience

We will have such fun exercising by copying some of the moves and positions that animals make! Your child will learn body awareness, exercise, and have fun all while getting that extra energy out. This 30 minute class will be focused on your child following the moves that I make, and they will love it! 

I do these as brain breaks in my classroom, and it is so fun watching my students enjoy exercising and smile the whole time. Some of the moves include a frog leap, starfish hop, crab walk, and an elephant dance.

Parental Guidance

Students should have parental supervision during this course. Students should have proper closed toe shoes, a water bottle of water, and an open space to move about without potential for injury. Remove area rugs or mats to prevent tripping hazards from their space. Be sure to have these items in place prior to class.

Supply List

The only thing you will need is enough open space to move and stretch without hitting any obstacles.

External Resources

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hi! My name is Madison! 
I am an elementary school teacher who loves my kiddos! 

I teach/tutor math and reading skills focused on first -third grade content.

I've taught 3rd grade for 3 years and 2nd grade for 1 year. I am currently teaching 4th grade. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and in the top 10% of my graduating class from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. There, I completed my Bachelor's of Elementary education as well as a concentration and certification in K-12 Reading Education.

I believe in hands on learning through manipulatives and drawings in math scenarios. I believe in higher order thinking questions that allow deeper understanding of content. I believe that any student can learn and learn well if taught with the right approach. 

I have a lot of classes available that speak on my hobbies and interests that are both academic and nonacademic. I love to bake and cook. I absolutely love science and reading is so important to me! 

I am a wife and dog mom of an Australian Shepherd puppy, so I love to share about my dog when I can (especially in my dog treat classes)
