*** You need a Nintendo Switch, Animal Crossing New Horizons and an Online Account to participate as noted in the Learner Supply List *** What will we do in class? In this class, students will provide a Dodo code to me so that I may fly to their island and drop off the resources needed to upgrade their island. The items that each student will receive is listed below. This class can be taken as many time as you wish. The students will develop team building skills by collaborating with each other during class. What will we talk about? We will discuss how to unlock shops, build bridges / inclines, and home additions as well as game strategies. We will also talk about how to acquire more Bells to pay for more structures. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their own tips and tricks about the game. What will I get in class? Each student will receive the following items in each class regardless if they are new to the game or have been playing for a while. 1 million Bells 30 Wood 30 Softwood 30 Hardwood 30 Iron Nuggets 30 Stone 30 Clay 30 Gold Nuggets 10 Nook Mile tickets 10 Star Fragments 1 Vaulting Pole 1 Ladder 1 Set of Tools (net, fishing pole, shovel, axe, watering can, sling shot) 3 pieces of each kind of fruit (apple, cherry, pear, peach, orange, coconut) 1 Star Wand Students will enter the class via the Zoom classroom and after a brief introduction, I will ask each student for a Dodo code so that I may enter their island. Once on the island, I will drop all of the materials in an open space and fly back to my island via the Dodo airport. I will repeat this for each student during class. While each student is receiving their materials from me, we will collaborate together as a group to answer each others questions and share strategies for island upgrades and improvements. I am also available to provide specific ideas for island design.
