Animal Crossing is a game that has a unique art style that's easily recognizable, and fun to draw in! In this class, we're going to look at a different type of Animal Crossing Villager each week and learn how to design a new one from scratch. Each class will consist of the same loose schedule: - Looking at examples of the Villager of the Week - Sketching out the base design needed to create a new Villager - Brainstorming personality and style - Illustrating our new villagers - Sharing our art The Villager of the Week schedule is posted below: Week of September 3: People! Week of September 10: Kangaroos! Week of September 17: Lions! Week of September 24: Wolves! Students are more than welcome to request Villager types that they'd like to cover, as well! #creative

Students will learn how to draw assorted Villager types from Animal Crossing, as well as create their own Animal Crossing Villagers.

Parental Guidance
Animal Crossing is a family-friendly game that is rated E for Everyone. Students will be viewing Animal Crossing content via screen share, where the instructor will be presenting a quick Google Slides presentation showing different Animal Crossing Villagers. Learners will not need to use this resource, as they will only be viewing content via screen sharing.
Supply List
In order to participate in class, learners will need the following supplies: - Pencil(s) and a good eraser - Paper - Coloring supplies (colored pencils, markers, crayons, etc.)
