In this 8 week class, learners will create artwork inspired by 8 different sea animals. The first class will start with introductions, and the beginning of each class thereafter will start with a review of what was covered in the week before. Each lesson will be taught in a directed drawing style to aid those who are not yet confident in their skills. However, after the learners have completed the demonstrated steps, they will be encouraged to make their art unique and personal to them. If time permits, at the end of class all students will share their artwork with the class. Not only will we make colorful artwork, but students will also introduced to drawing, painting, collage, and multi media techniques. Teacher expertise and credentials
The two things I love most in life is art and teaching! I have a degree in art education and have lots of experience working with young students. I think that basic understanding of art techniques and theories are important things that students should learn to not only further their art skills but also to see the beauty in the world around them!
