Each class will start with either introductions or a review of what was covered in previous days. Learners will create artwork inspired by pets: dogs, cats, and goldfish. Not only will we make artwork of pets, but we will also introduced to drawing, painting, collage techniques, famous artists, and other important art concepts. Each lesson will be taught in a directed drawing style to aid those who are not confident in their skills yet. However, after the learners have completed the steps demonstrated, the students will be encouraged to make their art unique and personal to them. Day 1: Dog, painting Day 2: Cat, drawing Day 3: Fish, paper collage

Students must be comfortable with scissors. If not, they will need parental assistance.

Day 1: Dog Acrylic or tempra paint, painting supplies (paint brush, cup of water, paper towels, etc.) white paper, scissors, glue, markers or crayons Day 2: Cat, drawing White paper, pencil, black permanent marker (if available), drawing supplies (markers, crayons, or colored pencils) Day 3: Fish, paper collage Colored paper, scissors, glue, black permanent marker (if available), crayons
