Welcome animal lovers! This class will meet once a week for 8 weeks. Each class will be 30 minutes long. Each class will cover a different category of animals (birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, insects, rodents, sea creatures, wild cats, endangered animals.) We will examine each category of animals through vibrant slide shows, discussions, simple crafts, and trivia games. Students will have fun learning about different types of animals from all over the world. Students will be encouraged to ask questions and share ideas about the various animals. Here are the weekly topics, along with their corresponding craft projects. You can find the supply list below. If you do not have some of the materials, please send me a message and I will help you find an alternative. Week 1: Birds - construction paper birds. Week 2: Fish - rainbow fish paper weaving. Week 3: Cats (lions, cheetahs, etc...) - lion mask craft. Week 4: Reptiles and Amphibians - chameleon moving plate activity. Week 5: Insects - moving caterpillar craft.
