Unit 1 focuses on greetings and saying a simple self-introduction.

Week 1
1:1 Welcome: hello, goodbye, happy, sad, name. How are you? I’m (happy). What’s                         your name?
1:2 How are you? :great, good, fine, tired. I’m (great)

Week 2
1:3 Numbers + age :one, two, three, four, five, years, old.How old are you? I’m (five) years old.
1:4 Countries :Japan, China, Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Philippines, red, white, blue. Where are you from? I’m from 
Week 3
1:5 Story School :Welcome, a school, a teacher, excited.
1:6 Review: Introductions. Understanding and answering simple comprehension questions about self-introductions.



Unit 2 teaches colors and shapes, introducing simple “It is a…” sentence structures.

Week4
2:1 Shapes :circle, square, triangle, rectangle, heart, oval.
2:2 Colors :orange, yellow, green, pink, purple, brown, black.
Week5
2:3 Numbers 6-10:How many can you see? I see  
2:4 Art culture:Germany, the Netherlands.
Week6
2:5 Story My face : nose, eyes, mouth, ears, face. It is… / They are…

Unit 3 teaches words for common fruits and introduces asking simple questions.

Learning Goals
Unit 1
introductory lessons, aimed at complete beginners, teaches students how to introduce their name and describe simple feelings.
Numbers 1-5
introduces the words for six countries and how to say where you are from. Students will also learn three simple colours and describe the flags.

Unit 2
basic shapes,sentence structure “It’s a (noun)”.
numbers six to ten, 
practicing counting and describing how many objects you can see.
studying the works of two famous artists – Klee and Mondrian.

Unit 3
six common fruits and how to describe which fruits you like
simple drinks and the words hungry/ thirsty
when to use “a” or “an”

The names of three new countries and their famous fruits.
