Teens will get a chance to boost their confidence with reading and text analysis, whilst enjoying learning in a way that feels engaging and accessible. Unlock the world of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet with this 10-lesson unit designed for teens working at lower grade levels. Lessons will develop skills in readingand writing. Perfect for boosting confidence. These small group classes will run even with one enrolled learner, so you have no worries about a class being cancelled. If your learner would prefer not to work in a 1-on-1 class, I am happy to refund the lesson, should no other learners enroll. This 10-lesson class introduces teens to the drama and beauty of Romeo and Juliet in an engaging, accessible way. Through guided reading, we’ll explore some of the play’s key scenes, themes, and characters. We will not be performing the play, nor will we read it in its entirety. Writing tasks include diary entries and narrative retellings, helping students connect deeply with the story. Perfect for budding writers and first-time Shakespeare readers, this class blends creativity, storytelling, and fun while building confidence with classic literature.
