Class Experience
Welcome to Ms. Kelly's ongoing Among Us variation of the original game! We will play Hide and Seek on a private server within the Among Us game. As a class we will use a spinner wheel to pick which map we will use. In this ongoing game variation, the imposter will reveal themselves after we are all randomly assigned the role by the system. There are many different versions of Hide and Seek. In this class, we will play a few different versions. One where the crewmates hide around maps...

Among Us downloaded on another device in order to play while communicating on Zoom
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
• Ideal Playing Conditions and Attitude: 1. Students should ideally have 2 devices for the class in order to have zoom open for discussion and then be able to play Among Us on the other one. The mobile APP is free and it is best if the game is downloaded prior to class time so that they are ready to play when they enter class. 2. Students will be expected to treat everyone in the classroom with respect at all times. 3. Students must be both a good winner and be able to handle defeat with grace. Since we will both be discussing how to have victories for the imposters and crew members. 4. Students must be ready for appropriate social confrontation within the setting of the game and understand that it is all in good fun for the game. (proper language will always be used) 5. Students must be ready to not get the 'Imposter' role for the duration of the class since it is randomly assigned. Also, possibly not receive their color of choice as a character.
