In this one-time class we will learn about some amazing animal adaptations. This class will be taught with a colorful slide presentation and fascinating age appropriate graphics. All of the species on our planet adapt to survive. Some of those adaptations show up in fun and interesting ways. We'll explore the adaptations of the bat, chameleon, puffer fish, and poison dart frogs. After this class your learner will understand how these adaptations work and the theories behind how it helps the species survive more efficiently. I encourage the learners to ask questions throughout the class and to engage in the questions I ask them. No previous knowledge required.

-To have a basic understanding of how the specific adaptations work for the species we discuss
-To have a greater understanding of why species adapt
