Teaching is not just a profession for me; it’s my true calling, igniting a passion that fills me with immense joy. Over the span of 8 years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding a diverse array of learners, both in-person and virtually. Recognizing that each student is unique, I prioritize creating engaging and enjoyable learning experiences tailored to their individual needs.

My dedication to education extends across a broad spectrum, as I am nationally certified spanning Pre-K through 12th grade in a multitude of subjects, including general education, special education, music, Spanish, math, and all tested content. Recently, I augmented my expertise with certification in Orton-Gillingham for reading and phonics, further enriching my ability to support students’ literacy development.

In addition to my role as a dedicated educator and private tutor, I have recently launched Bright Hope Homeschool Academy, a pioneering venture that embodies my educational philosophy. At Bright Hope, we have reimagined traditional homeschooling by placing emphasis on project-based learning and student-led exploration. Our academy is a nurturing environment where students are empowered to take ownership of their education, fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Through personalized learning plans and hands-on projects, we cultivate a dynamic educational experience that inspires a lifelong love of learning. I am deeply committed to providing a supportive community where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, fostering a sense of belonging and achievement that extends far beyond the classroom walls.

Beyond the classroom, I maintain a multifaceted lifestyle that mirrors my commitment to holistic well-being. An avid athlete, I engage daily in yoga, meditation, stretching, and powerlifting, bolstered by certifications in fitness and nutrition. As a homeschool teacher and private tutor, I am deeply invested in fostering comprehensive growth, offering a diverse range of services from full-curriculum pods to private music lessons and specialized tutoring sessions.

Outside of educational pursuits, I find solace and inspiration in an active lifestyle, whether it’s exploring the great outdoors through hiking and canoeing or immersing myself in the rhythms of the gym and the pulse of running. As a lifelong learner, my passion for music propels me to continue my own musical studies, while my love for literature fuels a voracious appetite for reading. Travel is another cornerstone of my life, with biannual trips to Aruba serving as cherished opportunities for rejuvenation and cultural exploration.
