My role as an educator, author, and recording artist allows me to offer a unique blend of experience and expertise that enriches each lesson.
With over a decade of teaching experience across the United States and China, my classes imbue students with a global perspective and develop essential skills such as communication, critical thinking, vocabulary enhancement, and test-taking abilities. I cover a wide range of subjects including History, Reading, Writing, Public Speaking, ESL, and Idioms, tailoring my approach to meet the diverse needs of my students.
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe in demanding effort rather than perfection. My teaching philosophy is built around this concept, emphasizing growth and development as continuous, lifelong processes. My own love for reading and writing is a testament to the power of literacy. It began in the 2nd grade, leading me to publish 12 books, including "The Danger Kids"—a project I started at age 12 and published decades later. This early passion also drove me to the stage, where I've connected with thousands through music, drama, and motivational speaking. My journey is proof that learning can be as enjoyable as it is crucial.
