Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 3
Is your child a struggling reader or just needing some brush up? This is the class for you. We will be reviewing vowel sounds and the rules they follow using interactive games, singing songs, writing and reading. This class includes "Wiggle Breaks" to get our brains moving, reading circles and fun characters to help us practice our skills. I will teach live sessions which will provide opportunities for modeling and student practice. After each lesson, kids will have a fun reading game to do with their families. Parents are also encouraged to read with children as much as possible. My teaching style is to encourage each child at their developmental level and celebrate their individual growth in reading skills. I can’t wait to meet my little readers. Let's learn to love reading! A requirement for this course is that the learner knows the sound of each letter in the alphabet and is able to write the letters of the alphabet. Upon completion of this class, learners will be able to recognize and write words with the vowel sound introduced in class.
