I hold a multiple subject teaching credential and spent 10 years teaching science in the elementary classroom, as well as other core curriculum. As well, I homeschooled my 3 daughters and we enjoyed LOTS of science! I do also have postgraduate courses which I took in digital arts, drawing and design which helped me put together my life science and drawing courses.
Learners should have a basic proficiency in reading, as the facts on the bingo card are written in sentences. However, so that everyone can play, the squares are numbered. (In case learners have trouble locating relevant squares)
Parents need to print the bingo card assigned to each specific lesson so that both the teacher and student are on the "same page" while playing bingo during the videos. Also, tokens are offered to cover the spaces, fun printable prizes and calling cards for later use in playing bingo at home. Make sure that you print what you need before the video begins, but, of course, being a self-paced course, you can always hit "pause"!
