1-2 hours per week. Students are expected to read 20 minutes outside of class. Reading will support their overall reading goals.

We will meet 5 days a week for 30 minutes.

All About reading Level 3 is a fun and engaging program that covers the Five key components of reading:

1. Phonological Awareness 
2. Phonic and Decoding 
3. Fluency 
4. Vocabulary 
5. Compression 

Lesson will be taught using a multi sensory learning approach: 
Visual: Seeing 
Auditory: Listening 
Tactile: Touching (fine motor) 
Kinesthetic: Engaging in physical activity (gross motor) 

Lesson structure will be as followed: 

- Welcome 
- Review 
- Teach  new phonograms 
- Blend sounds 
-Practice reading words 
-High frequency words 



Week of September 9th: Vowel teams 

Week of September 16th: Decode two-syllable words 

Week of September 23rd: Jobs of Silent E 

Week of October 7th: Syllable division tules for three consonantes 






Breaks will be scheduled  in throughout  the fall and spring semester such as:

Fall Break November 25th-November 28th 
Winter Break  December 23rd- January 6th 
Spring Break March 24th- March 28th 


If your child is needing additional support with reading we can meet during breaks at an additional coast. Please communicate with me prior to breaks.

 Review  open and close vowel, jobs of silent E, syllable division.

AI and AY
 Decode words containing phonograms ai and ay.

Lesson 3:
Read Train Cat
 Students will learn about onomatopoeia and read a short story. 
30 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
OA and Ow
 Decode words containing phonograms with oa and ow. 
30 mins online live lesson

Parental Guidance
At Outschool safety is our top priority. Scissors will be part of out materials therefore below are the rules: No running, throwing, jumping or walking around with scissors in their hands – or anywhere else on their body. Scissors should only be used while sitting at a table and (initially) exclusively under adult supervision.
Pre-Requisites
Students will have to be comfortable with the following: -understanding how to sound out one-syllable/ two syllable rules. -read blends at the beginning and end. -read vowel-consonant-e words -Raed words with Bossy R
