In this one-time class, students will learn more about Pumpkins: Pumpkin Life Cycle and Parts of a Pumpkin. Students will engage in the content through listening, speaking, reading, and writing opportunities about pumpkins. Lessons are aligned to Common Core Standards as well as National Curriculum Standards for Social Studies Standards and Next Generation Science Standards. Agenda: -Explore a virtual Pumpkin Patch -Vocabulary lesson: Seed, Sprout, Vine, Bloom, Pumpkin -Pumpkin Life Cycle -Parts of a Pumpkin **Halloween and Jack-o-lanterns will not be discussed during this class.**
