All About Pigs! Learn Fun Facts and How to Draw a Pig!

With a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and a Master's in School Counseling, I know how vital social-emotional learning is. It can actually improve students' academic performance, relationships, and overall well-being! I have worked with children from preschool to 8th grade. I believe every student is an individual with their own learning style, personality, and interests. For this reason, my classes are always differentiated for the learners in my class. I enjoy teaching social-emotional lessons such as Stress Management, Responsibility, and conflict resolution, to list a few. I also value social connections that children need to bring warmth, empathy, and joy into their lives. Therefore, I also enjoy having social clubs such as Morning Meeting and Friendship groups. Finally, I am also passionate about teaching reading as stories can teach us some of the most important social emotional lessons! When I'm not teaching or studying, I love to spend time with my family. I also have a lot of fun decorating and making the most mundane of tasks fun! Oh, and personally, I think dinosaurs and unicorns are the coolest. Maybe some will make an appearance in class if your child feels the same! I can't wait to get to know your child.
