Description
Class Experience
Students will have a basic understanding of the identifying characteristics of the breeds studied. Students will learn about the use of each breed throughout history. Students will become familiarized with the significance of each breed in literature.
My earliest teaching experience was teaching horseback riding lessons and camps (in person!) beginning at the age of 12, and continuing for 8 years. I have taught private horseback riding lessons, directed day camps of over 20 children, taught semester long horse knowledge & care courses, and worked as a horsemanship instructor at an overnight summer camp. I have been trained in western horsemanship, hunter-jumper, and Parelli Natural Horsemanship curriculum.
Printable handouts will be provided in the classroom each week.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
