This class will be instructed through scaffolded modeling, interactive whiteboard practice and discussion. First we will briefly review the basics of algebra including vocabulary, absolute value, order of operations, distributive property and evaluating algebraic expressions. Next, I will review and demonstrate how to solve one-step and two-step equations. Students will practice problems after I have guided them through one or two together. We will then begin solving systems of equations...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
