The topics covered in this class will be tailored to what the student needs to practice. After enrollment, parents will be asked to complete a questionnaire about the students strengths, weaknesses, major causes of concern. Parents should also discuss how their student likes to learn and and favorite things (hobbies, favorite artists, ect) that could make the class more interesting for their student. I like to teach students through guided questioning. This allows me to understand what the student knows about the subject and how they problem solve. Class will include instruction and practice time using materials provided by the student/parent. I will also incorporate games and videos to enhance learning, when appropriate. If the parent requests homework, it will be provided for the student. This homework should be completed prior to the next lesson and uploaded to the classroom to be reviewed.
