This one-time session will focus on one of the foundation skills used in Pre-Algebra and Algebra. The agenda for my class will be as followed: -Introduce steps to solving equations. These steps are using cross any equation. Therefore, you can apply these steps to one-step equations as well as we build up to solving a multi-step equation. I was a Special Education teacher for 9 years. During my time as a Special Education teacher, I supported students in 6th-12th grade math. Additionally, I taught Algebra I for 3 years.
Learner will benefit from a quiet, focus oriented working space. Notebook, pencil, highlighter, different colored pens or pencils are recommended. If parent or student would like, I can email notes, please feel free to reach out to me.
The learner will complete an "Exit Ticket" to assess mastery level of solving equations.
