### Algebra I Unit 1: One-and-Two Step Equations

In this course, learners will learn how to solve equations. Learners will begin with solving one-step equations, followed by two-step equations and lastly multi-step equations.

`Learner will learn how to solve one, two and multi-step equations.`
`I was a Special Education teacher for 9 years. During my time as a Special Education teacher, I supported students in 6th-12th grade math. Additionally, I taught Algebra I for 3 years. `
`Learner will benefit from a quiet, focus oriented working space. Notebook, pencil, highlighter, different colored pens or pencils are recommended. If parent or student would like, I can email notes, please feel free to reach out to me.`
`The learner will complete an "Exit Ticket" to assess mastery level of solving equations.`
`50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.`
