A big plus is if learners have knowledge of Algebra 1 Topics such as Rules of Exponents, Solving Linear Equations and Inequalities, and Factoring Polynomials.
There are no materials to purchase. All material will be available in the Outschool class, provided by teacher. We will be using FREE Open Educational Resources.
A few pieces of information: 1. This is a self-paced course, students can enroll and open lessons as it fits their schedule. 2. There are no live classes, materials and videos are already available in each lesson. 3. Materials build on previous lessons, so is important not to skip a lesson. 4. Students are not alone, they can still message the teacher for 8 weeks from start of class if there have any questions, expect a 24hr delay/response. 5. While there is no homework, additional practice questions with answers will be provided for the student to continue to practice. 6. A big plus is for students to have taken Algebra 1 before enrolling in this course. 7. Send me a message if you have any additional questions before enrolling.
All information and materials will be in the classroom. No external resources outside of Outschool tools.
