###### US Grade 9 - 12

This is the first quarter of Algebra 2. This course is rigorous and should only be taken by students who have successfully completed Algebra 1. This class is best for self-motivated students who like math and will work hard both in and outside of class. Students will expand upon the skills they learned in Algebra 1. We will review solving equations, inequalities, systems of equations, and will graph standard parent functions on the coordinate plane and then transform them. Graphing...

I have been teaching/tutoring middle and high school math for 8 years and love it!

## Homework Offered

Required homework, approximately 30-45 mins/day or 2-4 hours per week. This will vary slightly by topic.## 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class

## Assessments Offered

Optional quizzes/tests will be assigned.## Grades Offered

Grades on assessments offered at parent/student request.

Students should have completed an Algebra 1 course with proficiency before taking this class.

Curriculum will be provided by the instructor. A printer will be needed to print out notes and assignents. A basic calculator will be needed (recommended--TI-30X IIS) and we will use the free online graphing calculator, Desmos.com
