Master Algebra 1 with an experienced educator! This class will align with Common Core Standards and use the same curriculum and sequencing that I use in my in-person classroom. Small group instruction enables lots of individual attention!

NOTE TO PARENTS I can easily adjust the amount of classes per week to fit your needs. Just has to be 9 PM EST or later! Feel free to email jorr@ewsd.org with questions. This class will align with Common Core Standards.. I will use the same curriculum and sequencing that I use in my in-person classroom at a public school in Vermont. In a typical Zoom class, we will spend the first portion doing a warmup to review what we did last class. We will then typically proceed to a lesson on something new. Students will have a guided notes sheet that they work through as I teach and model examples. We will finish by using the remaining class time to do practice problems and start a homework assignment. Students will finish the assignment outside of class if necessary. I like to try to keep things fun with my students! Students will get a ton of individual attention and can contact me anytime with questions.
Learning Goals
Students will master all Algebra 1 material and be well prepared to move on to any version/level of Algebra 2!
