What's included

3 live meetings
1 hrs 45 mins in-class hours per week
Homework
Homework will be assigned each week. The amount of homework assigned will be dependent on each student's ability to accomplish necessary practice work during class. All practice worksheets uploaded to the classroom are expected to be completed each week. Students are responsible for completing practice worksheets for homework what they do not finish in class. At the end of the week, I will share the answer keys to each practice problem work sheet- included with the scratch work- and we will occasionally check answers all together, as time allows.
Assessment
Informal weekly assessments will be made through the current topic.
Grading
A Certificate of Completion accompanied by an overall letter grade for the class will be issued to students who were subscribed to every week of the class syllabus. Perfect attendance is not necessary, as all the classes are recorded to allow for your flexibility when issues of attendance arise. Being enrolled for all weeks is what qualifies a student for this Certificate of Completion.

Class Experience

US Grade 7 - 10
Easy to Join during any Week of the syllabus, because this course is cyclical! This course is meant to cover all major standards of Algebra 1, and because we cover and practice a new standard each week- your student can jump in without a fear of missing out! So, whether your student needs a full curriculum, extra support on a given topic, or just wants to supplement their current curriculum, this course will be of great help to them! I will utilize the I do, We do, You do method of teaching. First I will do and explain a problem(s), we will do a problem(s) together, and then the students will practice problems on their own while I check for their understanding. During practice time, students may work together, some students (voluntarily) may be asked to "tutor" or "teach" other students or the whole class to apply the final depth of knowledge, and/or receive 1-on-1 assistance with me in a break-out room.

This class will be taught 3 day's per week to allow for sufficient concept building, practice, and to to cover the breadth of the full course. Because it is Ongoing, you will have the ability to pay on a weekly basis and/or only for the week(s) you deem necessary for your student!

**Students are welcome to join after this course has started! We begin a new topic each week and sufficiently spiral review throughout the entire course, so even if your student joins in the middle of the semester, I have the tools, resources, and knowledge of how to guide incoming students towards success!**

Students will receive guided notes and worksheets in the classroom every Monday that correspond to each weeks lesson.

Periodically, we will have "Check Point Assessments" administered through an Outschool approved application- Pear Deck- that will prepare students for standardized test type assessments such as ACT's, SAT's, ASVAB's, and State Exam's. Score's and feedback are released in real-time so that student's can immediately access their Grades, Correct Answers, and Incorrect Answers.
