In this 8 class crash course, students will learn the major concepts covered in the Algebra 1 Curriculum.
Class experience
US Grade 5 - 8
Each lesson, students will be given instruction based on the syllabus listed below. Students will be given time between lessons to check-in with Mr. Wittmer to ask clarifying questions on that lesson's key concept via Outschool communication, or video conference calling. This class is taught in English.
Students will be giving a crash course on the different ways they will encounter the concept of equations in the Algebra Curriculum as outlined by the Common Core Standards. Students will be able to solve simple to complex equations, they will be able to understand and describe equations as functions and they will be able to utilize different methods for solving systems of equations. This course is meant to give students a small glimpse of the Algebra Curriculum.
