Students can implement the strategies they learn in class.Class Experience
Students will learn Albert Einstein's theory of happiness and how they can apply it to their life. In this class, students will be taught the basics of setting goals, gratitude, and living in the moment. This class will be structured as a teacher led presentation with peer discussions. Students will be using prompts to come up with creative ways to achieve happiness through a holistic, evidence based model. This will include mindfulness, goal setting, health discussions, and social interactions. My teaching style is fun, engaging, and interactive. Learners will interact with one another as an example of the importance of social interactions for human psychology. I encourage all learners to think deeply about themselves and how they want to live their best life! Students will discuss: What is happiness? What makes you happy? What makes other people happy? We will explore these questions and once we have defined happiness, we will look at how the mind and body react in different scenarios. We look at things that generally make people happy and what habits are the most likely to lead to happiness. We can discuss why everyone doesn't do all of them all the time! *This class is covered by the "Happiness Guarantee". If you are not happy after the class, Outschool will refund you 100% of the class fee. Students are not required to have any previous knowledge or experience. Since people learn from others, students should be willing to share thoughts and express ideas with each other during class to get the most positive learning experience.
