Air Dry Clay Christmas Ornaments
This class will be to teach students the basics of working with air dry clay by making a simple like a christmas ornament!

US Grade 4 - 7
Beginner Level
Students will learn how to make a flat circular shaped christmas ornament and learn the basics of working with clay, for example kneading clay, rolling it out, cutting shapes out of rolled clay, smoothing the clay out, and learning how to make a clay mixture called slip. The class will be structured by a 5-10 minute introduction, then a material overview, a 15 minute demonstration, and a 25 minute guided practice where the students have time to practice what we are learning and ask any questions they have while working, and finally a 10-15 minute show and tell of everyone’s work, after the class is over students will be expected to wait for their clay to dry and paint it, then submit their final project, students will be graded by their focus and effort they put into their projects.
