Students will learn about the giant armadillos that once existed on earth. The topics covered will be 1) The early amadillos 2)The rise of the giant glyptodonts 3) Trekking to North America 4)Notable members of the family 5)Their decline and extinction My class will be structured along the evolutionary history of these giant armadillos. My teaching style can be described as discussion and interaction based. Learners will get to interact with me through lectures, slides and documentary clips. No experience required

I studied paleontology at the University of Alberta and have been on several digs in Montana, Wyoming and the Dakotas and I worked in the Deep Time education department teaching people about prehistory
