In this class, students will learn about Madam C.J. Walker. She is one of the first African American millionaires in American history. Students will learn about her resilience and her drive to succeed. They will learn how she helped the black hair industry by producing and selling her own hair products. I will teach them about her early life, her entrepreneurship, her hardships and the impact she made in the black culture. We will discuss how she inspires people today to be creative, to work...
