This course will run for one time only. I will be teaching children mindfulness skills, through different activities such as games, mindful breathing, stretches and positive self-talk

I will teach mindfulness skills to children to help them regulate their emotions. Classes offer techniques to handle day-to-day stress or anxiety. We will learn these skills through games, deep breathing exercises, stretches and positive self-talk. The class will be engaging and interactive. Children will be able to interact with me during the session and ask questions if necessary I will use my own resources, such as slides and clips to facilitate learning and engagement in the session. No experience is required for this class.

Parental Guidance
Yoga - please make sure children have suitable shoes for stretches; trainers or sandshoes. Children will need space for movement activities and games. No account is required to view class resources. Resources are used to enhance the learning experience for your child and simplify different concepts such as naming and explaining parts of the brain and their function.
Supply List
I will use resources from the website Twinkl to encourage participation in activities. I will screen-share these resources with your child. It is advised that children should have some knowledge of the use of screen sharing or an adult should be present to support them with this step.
