US Grade Preschool - 1
The class will be structured this way: -I will lead a few games revolving around the topic of friendship -Teacher will discuss with the students about what it means to be a good friend and why having good friendships are important as well as the importance of being a good friend and being kind to others. -I will be reading the book "I Need a Hug" by Aaron Blabey -Students will participate in an open ended art activity about friendship (drawing a picture of what they feel friendship looks like/what it means to be a good friend) -Students will come up with a nice compliment to say about the teacher and each student in the class Note: Please give learners access to a water bottle within reach and make sure they wear close-toed shoes.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about the importance of kindness and friendship and why it is important to always be kind as well as being a good friend.
