PARENTS/GUARDIANS: This class requires completion of the Introduction to Algorithms class OR have a good basic understanding of algorithms and pseudo code. Please note: This is a short version of the 2-week class where we dive into chatbot. In class we will only build a basic chatbot. In this follow-up to "Introduction to Algorithms & Artificial Intelligence", learners will dig deeper into algorithm development using pseudo code and Snap! Programming Language (similar to Scratch, but more powerful). The goal for this class is for learners to have built their first basic AI algorithm in pseudo code The purpose of this class is NOT to just build code, but to understand algorithms and learn to think in an analytical and logical way to help learners develop their own algorithms.
Learning Goals
Learners will learn how to think deeper about algorithms and agent technologies as well as understand the basics of chatbots.

Hello Fellow Learners!
My name is Mounir Shita - but you can call me Mo (trust me, it is scientifically proven to be easier to pronounce). I have been amazed and intrigued by thinking machines since I was a teenager. As an adult, I've made it my career to research and develop thinking machines.
I've spent over 20 years researching real thinking machines, built a lot of technology, started my own "AI" companies and even been involved in government "AI" programs.
In Outschool I hope to contribute to make you curious science, especially intelligent machines. I will teach classes ranging from introduction to artificial intelligence and thinking machines, to ethics (is it good or bad?) to teaching you how to build your own AI-powered games.
