I have done budget and credit consulting for over 20 years. My corporate background is heavily accounting and finance; and I taught business and finance in public high schools. I am a very strong advocate for financial education and do public speaking engagements about kids and money. Additionally, I walk the walk: my own teen has had a debit card and bank account for well over a year already.
No materials required. Students may be given links to websites that do not require registration of any kind, but can give information that is helpful. Any PDFs or documents the instructor finds helpful will be posted in the classroom.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
This is a good class if you are considering moving your child to their own bank account and debit card. They do not need to have one already
