Students will learn the difference in an adjective and an adverb. They will learn songs that are good visuals. They will also learn many types of adjectives and adverbs. They will practice putting them in complete sentences. The class starts with an introduction. I show a quick video for visual learners. We will play a game to help with understanding. I believe learners learn better when they are having fun. My classes are fun and engaging. I take the time to get to know my students in the first 3 minutes of class. Slides will also be used to help with games and visuals. Students will get to meet Monkey Bob! He is my stuffed animal that cheers them on and gives them high fives!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello Friends. My name is Teacher Teresa! I love teaching all subjects: Math, English, Writing, Science, Reading, and History, Grades 1st through 5th. I have my Master's and Bachelor's in Education. I have taught in private school and public school for 12 years. I started teaching preschool at the age of 19 and have always taught kids in some form or other. From running summer camps to teaching after school programs. One of the things I love most about teaching is providing a fun way to learn. I like to use puppets and games to make learning fun. I have a puppet I use in class. His name is Bob and he's a monkey! Bob loves to learn and teach right along with me! I can't wait to meet my students and get to know them better!
