In this class, students will review the concept of adding. Students will understand that addition is putting objects together to see how many in all. We will be focusing on numbers within 10, with the biggest sum equaling 20. This class will be taught using flash cards that I have created with visual supports. For example, if the problem is 3+2 students will see 3 red circles and 2 yellow circles. The flash cards will be shared through the screen. The small group setting will allow me to...

Students will be able to add numbers within 10, with 20 being the largest sum.
No homework is required for this class.
Paper and pencil may be used so students can record the addition equation and answer.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be informally assessed as they participate in the class.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
