Students will learn the important vocabulary terms we’ll be using throughout class and will also learn the skill of simplifying fractions.

➕Week 2: Adding Fractions
Students will learn and practice the steps for adding fractions with like denominators.

➕Week 3: Subtracting Fractions
Students will learn and practice the steps for subtracting fractions with like denominators.

➕Week 4: Adding Mixed Numbers
Students will learn and practice the steps for adding mixed numbers with like denominators.

➕Week 5: Subtracting Mixed Numbers
Students will learn and practice the steps for subtracting mixed numbers with like denominators.

➕Week 6: Review of Weeks 1-5
Students will show their understanding of adding and subtracting fractions and mixed numbers with like denominators..

🔴P L E A S E  N O T E🔴 :
  🔻Learners should have an understanding of addition and subtraction with whole numbers, as well as some background knowledge of fractions. 
  🔻Learners should know most, if not all, of their multiplication and division facts as we will be simplifying fractions.
  🔻This class will utilize the chat feature in Zoom in order for learners to be able to privately send me their answers.
