In this course, students will be taught how to master the ACT, from learning the tips and tricks associated with the test to the actual material contained therein. Specifically, students will learn English grammar, syntax, she rhetorical skills; trigonometry; algebra basics; statistics basics; logic for the Science section; and how to comprehend the reading section better. In addition, I will provide tricks on how to best utilize time, how to discern the correct from incorrect answers by way of patterns, how to find the correct answers in science, and how to get through the reading section faster and more accurately. From the first session on, I will constantly be providing material to allow each student to continue assessing themselves for understanding of material by way of asking forward thinking questions, as well as working through problems within the video. I will be providing detailed analysis for questions, as well as formula sheets and other aspects, depending upon the test section. Further, while they are at their own pace, I will provide enough work to allow for additional practice. When we study the mathematics section, specifically, I will also utilize a whiteboard to allow students to see how to do problems, as well as allow them to save the work as notes. I ask students to have paper handy to take notes, as well, as I want them using days notes on any practice test or homework I give. Each class will begin by going over the basics of each subject, as students are starting at different levels. It is important to ensure that nothing is left out, as students need to understand that the test goes from grade school all the way through second semester of their junior year in high school. English and Math have multiple lessons, as those are the conceptual sections and require much more than tricks or tips. In working with the students, I will check in via email once a week to see if there are any questions. From there, if questions do arise, I will provide either another video explaining the answers to the questions or attempt to answer anything via messages through the site. However, if the student runs into a question before I am able to check in, they are encouraged to send me a message and I'll do my best to respond promptly. I will be as available to your student as I am with a live session.

over 8 WeeksLesson 1:
Getting to know how you answer questions
Every student looks at material differently; this lesson is to see how you answered the questions and to teach you how to look at questions specifically for the ACT. At the end of the session, specific homework will be provided and I will give directions on what I want you to have done with each aspect.

Learning Needs
One advantage of a self-paced class is to allow those who need to review the material or take breaks to have the ability to pause and rewind what is said for a better understanding.
