Ready to fall in love with painting? No painting experience is necessary.......Really! Just paint - a - long with Ms. Muse and by the end of class time, you will have created a masterpiece! Students will follow along step by step, as I paint details right in front of them. Headphones to cancel out any home background noise is extremely helpful. Students are encouraged to treat this as an open class and engage in speaking as much as they prefer. If they choose, students can always share their masterpiece at the end of the class . (This is never required) I understand some painters are private and would prefer to just learn. I will demonstrate how the paint colors work together and we'll layer these to create beautiful paintings with depth. They will learn painting terminology and some easy to remember techniques that they can use in their own artwork. It's really exciting to see how proud they are of their work. Watch as they improve with each painting they create! Practicing our painting is key to developing skills. With all of my classes , Concepts are revisited often to gain muscle memory and learn control. ------------------ See you soon!

TULIPS Craft Acrylic Paint Colors : We will mix …so bright ( not light) is best. White Yellow green blue ( not navy ) Violet/ purple Choose (2 )pinks. : Dark , Bright , Fluorescent Pink or Fuchsia 11x14 surface such as Canvas /canvas panel /canvas paper /watercolor paper/thick multi- media paper/wood *Please note, the structure/ timing of the class is geared toward SPECIFICALLY 11x14 or smaller . This manageable size allows for ample time to work on each step, and for all levels of painters to enjoy success. 3 - 4 SHORT HANDLED brushes : (flexible, SYNTHETIC bristles) 3/4 “ or 1 " Flat wash brush Medium sized ROUND brush ( size 8 ) Small flat or angled Small sized /Detail ROUND brush with a nice point. ( size 3 or 4) Headphones are helpful 2 Bowls of water EXTRA paper towels Paper plate for paints and one for mixing Please position ALL supplies on same side as the hand you paint with . Computer /device should be faced directly ahead so I can view entire student painting ( paint flat on table. )
