In this class I will share my 30 years knowledge of painting with acrylics, water color, and oils. In this class we will focus on painting the face in different styles such as: black and white, glazing, monochromatic, pop art, cartooned, impressionistic and even self portraits. The students will learn the basic rules of the face and will learn how to mix color and different ways of applying it. They will also learn how to handle the brush, how much water to use, how to soften edges and dry brush. If the students want we can play around with different materials to paint on such as chip board, card board, paper and mixed media paper. I will show them examples of the style and show them step by step how to build their painting. 8" x 10" canvas board 8" x 10" chip board (optional) 2 round brushes one med size on small for details 1 rectangle medium size brush acrylic paints: white, red, blue, yellow, black and any other colors they want cup of water paper towels plastic plate for palette
