Using materials found at home learners will create this multiple step silhouette painting of a dinosaur. I will personally guide each student as we move through steps to create this really fun and exciting piece. From cardboard to canvas to paper, all of those options are perfect for this piece. We will start by sketching our dinosaur on our base with a pencil and then we will move on to using acrylic paints to create the base of our sun. As we ghost in our dinosaur we will utilize acrylics to create a background around our sketched piece. Our final steps will include filling in our dinosaur with black acrylic and creating a beautiful silhouette piece.
Learning Goals
My main goal is to help each learner find a new confidence in their own artistic abilities. My hope is that this class will help learners gain new artistic awarenesses whether it be how to use new materials and/or how to use new techniques.

Supply List
A recommended material list would include cardboard, canvas, or paper, pencil, paint brushes sized small medium and large plus an eraser. Acrylic Colors needed are: Red, Yellow, Orange, White and Black.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
